Parshos Shoftim we learn about making a King for the Jewish people!
The Talmud compared a Groom/Chasson to a King and obviously his wife/Kallah to a Queen!
Heres the Kesubah signing before the Chuppah (like an insurance deal for the wife with much spiritual and physical obligations)
They needed a witness for the wedding and i was chosen ( chosen people- proper yid the rabbi said lol we are all proper just some more yiddish lol)

We start building the new year when Elul comes. Although Elul is the last month of the year, it is actually the beginning of the coming year.
The love between Hashem and the Jewish People awakens in Elul. There is an overflow of “Ratzon,” a desire for closeness on the part of the Jewish People to Hashem, and Hashem to the Jewish People. The revelation of this ‘Ratzon’ begins in Elul, increases with Rosh Hashana, Yom Kippur, and Sukkoth, until it reaches its climax on Shemini Atzeres.
The Sages note that Elul finds its acronym in many verses. These verses reveal the nature of this month.
One of the verses in which Elul is hinted is “Ani Ledodi, Vedodi Li” (Shir Hashirim); ‘I am for my beloved – G-d, and my beloved is for me’. The acronym for these four words, which express the ‘Ratzon’ between Hashem and the Jewish People, is Elul – Alef, Lamed, Vav, Lamed.
The first of something contains within it the entire thing. For instance, this month, Elul, encapsulates the coming year, 5772. Also, the first letter of a word captures its essence (this explains why we use acronyms as hints in Jewish learning).
How appropriate to find Elul, the ‘first’ of the new year as the ‘first’ letters of the verses which describe it.
The days which we are now entering are very great. In these days we discover ourselves in the context of the most important relationship we have; our relationship with Hashem.
