“THE MIDNIGHT RABBI IS HERE TO A-MUSE U”
MUSIC …

The power to heal, the power to unite, the power to bridge gaps, the power to build worlds.

Introducing

U-MUSE: YOUTH AND MUSIC

created by Eli Goldsmith, Jerusalem (formerly London)

inspired by youth everywhere.

Eli Goldsmith, affectionately known as The Midnight Rabbi, treads the streets of Jerusalem in the wee hours of the morning, meeting with youth to provide a listening ear, a compassionate heart, an uplifting voice. He wipes away the darkness as the clear light of day approaches.
The night is dark and the world is at a crazy time in history (the Gemara calls this ‘the end of days’)

We need in such a time real help in fighting all the battles that confront us.

The Midnight Rabbi comes through quiet streets …

Deep conversations, shared meals, the ability to share personal experiences which enlighten us all

Building friendships and bonds for life

Obstacles in life’s winding journey seem straightened, clarified and hopefully overcome.

Music –

Potential to develop into a voice and soul for the generations

Much needed fighting power with some true stars shining forth

Stars …

The sun begins to rise and the darkness is gone

All that is left is the teacher of truth that is now awake in everyone of us, forever …

U-MUSE: YOUTH AND MUSIC is an exciting, dynamic organization / project providing a multi-faceted program to inspire, nurture and educate our youth within a Jewish context. U-MUSE, based in Jerusalem, Israel, unites Jewish youth from all over the globe, as far afield as America, Canada, England, Australia. Set up by Eli Goldsmith, formerly of Edgware, London, U-MUSE is the panacea to a harsh confused drug and drink filled teenage world.
U-MUSE aims:

to awaken the ‘youth and music’ to the struggles of our times and how we overcome them
to provide and promote a safe and nurturing environment
to provide a well run music studio and jam room for the youth to express and create
to create an artistically appealing website, set up by the youths themselves, that will be a well of resources for promotional and professional exposure
to unite musicians in a yearly ‘Unity of the Bands’ concert with promotion opportunities for sponsors and companies
to provide the winners of the ‘Unity of the Bands’ concert with special access to the studio and further involvement to advance their success on a global scale
to bring out the true positivity of the youth and the best in music by providing excellent role models and leaders
to emotionally and spiritually heal youth through the power of ‘youth and music’

HELP ME TO HELP OUR JEWISH YOUTH!

Through music, let us uplift and transform our Jewish youth, by empowering them with a sense of positive identity, enhanced self esteem, a tapping in to their innate strength to overcome obstacles, and the belief in their ability to maximise their true potential.

IT’S ABOUT YOU-TH. MUSE OVER THIS!

Our state-of-the-art music studio (including Yamaha computer and speakers, midi piano, full drum kit, microphones, amplifiers etc) has already benefited a number of youth … (*names changed to protect privacy)

Ari is looking forward with great excitement to returning to Israel for a further year of study and experience. His journey has led him, through music, to reconnect to his talented disciplined positive self. Ari has already recorded with top producers in Jerusalem. His dream is just beginning …
A group of young students, talented musicians, began directing their attention on studies and personal growth, after a time of confusion and drifting. The music room gave them the much-needed chill time at night and during their breaks from day-time study. Their music abilities soared, their studies became balanced and focused, and their personal selves were transformed.

Eli has received abundant positive feedback from proud and grateful parents and youth.
Dear Eli, the Midnight Rabbi – My son really needs your support right now. He is in a very bad situation and refuses to accept help. Maybe you could possibly get through to him. The sooner the better as I feel that time is running out. … Dear Eli, the Midnight Rabbi – Just wanted to tell you that my son came home last night in a good mood and said he had a very good time with you and appreciated the time he spent with you. Please keep up a connection with him.
Hey The Midnight Rabbi – it’s Mo – thanks for everything, I had a great year with you – hope to see you in Israel again soon.
To the Midnight Rabbi – thank you for chilling with us at 2 in the morning after an emotional night when our friend died in a car crash. We need to be more responsible for our actions, think how many times we drove around drugged out of our minds and it could have been us. We must change and this is the place and the time to make the best of ourselves.

Music has the ability to uplift and transform! We need U to help us actualise that transformation!

Donations gratefully appreciated. Financial resources, equipment, professional input are required to ensure the continued excellence and success of U-Muse: Youth and Music. With immense thanks from the organisers and the youth! For information please email umuse613@gmail.com
