We have to remember our miracles amongst the darkness and smile!

Inspiration for 2014! Thank G-d we live on…<- #Holocaust remembrance day!

We have to keep smiling even during Adar and Parshas Zachor (zachor means to remember what our enemies did to us etc…) . This is the full episode in several parts. It testifies to what went on at the infamous death camp from his time there from 1944-1945. Note to holocaust deniers, I will delete your posts if you post here, so be warned, and be educated!

We Remember, this week Parshos Zachor = we remember , know our enemy ~!

Inspiration on 27th Jan. 2014! Wow to life!

This is for my wife and life! Whose birthday we share and long life together this week on Moshe Rabbenu’s bithday and yahrzeit! We Remember and live on in their merit!

One of the mitzvot of Purim, which we will celebrate this coming months is the reading of “Megilat Esther,” the Scroll of Esther. It is the only one of the 24 books of the Bible in which G-d’s Name does not appear. The name Esther also alludes to the concealment of G-d’s presence in the world, from the root word meaning “to hide.” The miracle of Purim came about in a seemingly “natural” manner, as opposed to an open and obvious miracle. The miraculous salvation brought about by Mordechai and Esther was “hidden” within a series of plausible events.Even the name of the holiday, Purim, denotes concealment, from the fact that it is a Persian word rather than a word in the Holy Tongue. (Chasidic philosophy explains that the Hebrew name of an entity is the direct channel of its G-dly’s vitality.)By contrast, the word “Megila” comes from the Hebrew root meaning revelation. The holiday of Purim thus represents a contradiction: on the one hand concealment, on the other, G-dly revelation. The contradiction is resolved, however, when we approach the Megila with the proper mindset, with the realization that even G-d’s “concealments” are “revelations,” originating in the same Source. G-d’s Essence is found in even the lowest levels of creation, and transcends the natural order. This concept will find its culmi-nation in the Messianic era, when “the night will illuminate as day,” and the G-dliness that underlies all of creation will be openly revealed. The Rebbe has prophesized that Moshiach is about to come, and that “the time for your Redemption has arrived.” The Hebrew word for “arrived” is related to the word “touch.” Not only have we reached the era of Redemption, but we can also “touch” it as well. In the same way that Esther’s “touch” of the royal scepter eventually brought about the salvation of the Jewish people, so too are we assured that our initial “touch” will likewise draw us nearer, speedily in our days, to the full and Final Redemption with Moshiach. Moshiach NOW!!!

Rabbi Sitorsky’s Parsha Shiur www.rabbisitorsky.com Rabbi Sitorsky’s weekly shiurim on the parsha are an eclectic and inspiring blend of rabbinic and kabbalistic influences.

Today, less than 250,000 survivors are living in Israel, less than 30,000 of whom live in the area of Jaffa and South Tel Aviv. The Jaffa Institute distributes food packages to 120 Holocaust survivors on a bimonthly basis and 250 survivors during the Holiday times.

During our Holocaust to Hope Campaign, our goal is to raise $5,600 in order to provide 10 packages per week for a total of eight weeks to the survivors that we serve. The campaign will begin on Holocaust Remembrance Day, as the international community recalls the horrors and the bondage of the Holocaust, and it will come to a close eight weeks later on Passover, as the Jewish community celebrates its liberation from oppression-both biblical and modern day.
